Sarah Barfield is a 19-year veteran educator with experience at the elementary, middle, and high school levels. She earned her BA in English and Education from Mercer University in Macon, GA, where she was honored to be inducted into the Kappa Delta Epsilon honor society for outstanding performance and dedication to her chosen program of study. Mrs. Barfield earned her Master's of Education degree in Instructional Technology, Media Specialist from Georgia College and State University in Milledgeville, GA. She graduated with a perfect 4.0 grade point average. 

She taught high school English Language Arts for 8 years before becoming a media specialist. Since then, Mrs. Barfield has won several grants to purchase technology and books for her students and teachers, she has written media program curriculum for both Houston County and Macon County School Systems, and she has become a professional learning instructor for a variety of topics that encourage use of instructional technology in the classroom. She became a Certified Microsoft Innovative Educator in August 2017, and she completed the MIE Trainer Course. Mrs. Barfield continues to learn and share her knowledge with students and teachers each year by attending professional conferences and re-delivering information through direct instruction/training, modeling best practices, and teaching engaging/interactive lessons.
