TUESDAY TIP...Study Tip of the Week

SET AN OVERALL GOAL
Remember the end result of completing your schoolwork. Passing your class, making a certain grade, promotion to the next grade, GRADUATION!! Keeping the end goal in mind while completing your work can help keep you motivated even through the tough times. Take a moment and create a vision board that you can view everyday so you can stay on track. Look for tips for creating a vision board on Fun Friday's activity! Be well and stay safe!

DON'T PROCRASTINATE! When studying it's easy to get distracted and keep putting off what you need to get done. Even if it's a lot and you may feel overwhelmed, break your work into small tasks and do it early. This way you'll have more time to fix any mistakes. This helps to lay a foundation do you don't have to use so much energy completing tasks from beginning to end because you're up against time. Create a a realistic schedule for yourself so you can complete the things required of you. Take care and be well.

TUESDAY TIP...Study Tip of the Week

The environment you study in is important. Make sure it's a place where you can focus and have everything you need to study. Also, make sure to use the same space for studying every time. Training our minds that a certain area means study time can help us to focus. Try not to use places such as your bed where you sleep or in an area where you usually have fun...such as in front of a TV where you usually play video games. Remember, every study environment is unique to individuals. Do what works best for you! #study #focus #positive #environment #nodistractions #repetition #healthyhabits

Hang in there!

TUESDAY TIP...

School is out and summer is in. Some of you have graduated and have received monetary gifts. Others of you have received money from parents, grandparents, aunts, and uncles for a job well done for the school year. One thing to remember that budgeting is important no matter what amount of money you bring in. As teens, it's important to learn about money management early. Check out this website for tips!
