Work-it-OUT Wednesday!

Happy Wednesday!

Circuit training is a good way to stay active and healthy while at home. Dips can be done from a chair or the floor. Also, try standing shoulder presses using weights, water bottles, or even text books. Pushups can be done with straight legs or bent knees, the same with planks. See the website for full details and pictures of a great circuit training workout. https://www.oxygenmag.com/.amp/training/obi-obadikes-circuittraining-workout-12442

Don't forget health is wealth!

Remaining physically active is essential for good health. It is also essential to practice safety measures before, during, and after workouts. One important factor is light stretching before workouts to loosen up muscles and joints to help prevent strain and injury. Give these stretches a try. Remember to be gentle and keep moving:

1. Butterfly stretch
2. knee-to-chest lower back stretch
3. shoulder stretch
4. cobra abdominal stretch/old horse stretch
5. walking high kicks/soldier march
6. inchworm/walk out
