Macon County NJROTC Marksmanship Team Qualifies for Area 10 Regional Championship
On Saturday, October 18th, seven members of the Macon County High School NJROTC Marksmanship Team traveled to Cairo High School to compete in an Area 10 qualifying match. The Bulldogs fielded a mixed team of both Precision and Sporter competitors, demonstrating teamwork and determination throughout the event. Cadet Xialoi Canels earned top honors as the high scorer for the Precision Team, while Cadet Sequioa Richards led the way for the Sporter Team. For the Sporter shooters, this marked their first official match—an impressive debut given only a few weeks of practice before the competition. Thanks to the combined efforts of all team members, the Macon County Precision Team earned one of six coveted spots at the upcoming Area 10 Regional Championship.
Well done, Bulldogs!
