Our Bulldogs will be playing in the 1st Gridiron Classic at Fort Valley State University on Friday, August 16, 2024 at 5:00 pm. Presale tickets are $20.00 and are available through Thursday, August 15. All proceeds from presale tickets will go directly to OUR school. All ticket sales after this time period or at the gate will be split amongst 6 schools, therefore please purchase the presale tickets. Please click on the link above to purchase tickets. Since school was closed last week, we are going to extend the deadline to pre-order yearbooks to this Wednesday, Oct. 2nd. We only have about 5 orders right now, and Mrs. Barfield needs at least 30 by Wednesday. Yearbooks are $30 cash.
NOTE: If we do not get at least 30 pre-orders, then we will discuss doing an all-digital book instead.

Parents and Students, the district is offering an attendance award for students with excellent attendance. Please be on time, be present, and stay at school all day to win this month's award!
Underclass (grades 9-11) Picture Day and Senior Pictures make-up day will be September 9th.
SENIORS: You will need to bring $25 cash for your sitting fee. Boys wear a light colored shirt, and girls wear a shirt that comes off the shoulders.
Parents and Students, MCHS will not provide daily loaners for Chromebooks beginning this year. Students are required to bring their fully charged Chromebook to school each day. The fee to replace lost chargers is $25. All Chromebooks must have the clear and black cover on them at all times. Taking off the cover voids the warranty, and students will have to pay for damages. Please encourage your children to bring any broken Chromebooks to the school for replacement. If you have questions, please contact Mrs. Barfield. Note: Students without a Chromebook will only be given a loaner when he/she must complete a test.

Attached is the copy of the card seniors were mailed on June 25th. Boys will need to wear a light colored t-shirt and girls will need to wear a shirt that can be pulled off both shoulders (spaghetti strap, wide neck, strapless). The photographer will provide the formal attire.

If you did not receive an email from Mrs. Barfield titled "You Owe a Chromebook", then you do not owe one. Some of you also still owe chargers. Please remember that you will not receive graduation tickets if you owe any technology or money to the school.

Fun Summer reading opportunities at the public library.
Seniors, please turn in your Chromebooks as soon as possible. Waiting until the last minute could result in long wait times while many others are also in line to return. Chromebooks with cover attached, and the charger all must be returned at the same time. Lost chargers are $25 and lost Chromebooks cost $365. Students must have all fees paid prior to graduation.
