Macon County School System is proud to announce that Solomon Eke and Jasmine Hannor have been selected to serve on the Chattahoochee-Flint RESA Student Advisory Board.
The advisory board was recently recognized by the Georgia Department of Education during their meeting in Atlanta. Following the recognition, State Superintendent Dr. Richard Woods met with the student board members for a special Q&A session.
The experience continued at the Georgia State Capitol, where students enjoyed lunch and heard directly from members of the State Assembly, including Representative Patty Stinson and Representative Mike Cheokas.
MCSS Superintendent Dr. Jonathan B. Roberts and student advisor Erica Jackson accompanied Solomon and Jasmine throughout this special day.
We congratulate Solomon and Jasmine on this tremendous honor and look forward to the impact they will make as they represent Macon County Schools and student voices across the region!
