91.6% Graduation Rate

The Macon County High School 4-Year Graduation Rate as reported by the Georgia Department of Education has seen a tremendous increase. Our 2023 graduation rate was 81.3%, 2024 was 78.8%, and the 2025 graduation rate increased to 91.6%, which is higher than the state average of 87.2%. This is a huge accomplishment for our students, faculty, staff, and administrators! We are proud of the gains our school has made under the leadership of Principal Jamal Harris. His initiative, the E-train, has made a difference in the success of our students by teaching them to focus on a plan after high school. At Macon County High School, upon graduation, all students will catch the E-train: be enlisted, be enrolled, be employed, or be an entrepreneur.
